Fruit and Sugar intake?

I have always been told that it is generally OK to eat several pieces/serving of fruit per day. I love fruit, and tend to eat at least a small apple and banana per day. My sugar intake on my food diary is ALWAYS over by 10-30 grams of sugar because of the fruits I eat. I am just wondering how bad it is to be eating around 50-60 grams of fruit sugars per day. Is there a "bad sugar" and "OK sugar"? Or am I hurting my diet just as much as if I was eating candy with the same amount of calories that the fruit has?
Appreciate the help.

This is a good question. I started eating fruit instead of a "dessert" food after dinner, and I know it HAS to be better somehow, but the calories and sugar are the same.0
