How should I log POP Pilates? I've been logging them as vigorous calisthenics, but I'm not sure if that's accurate!

Cassey says to log it as calisthenics. I only log the beginner workout as Pilates though.

I think calisthenics is a good one and maybe for her higher intensity ones you could do like plyometrics? :) I love her videos but I can't do them right now because of a bum knee, boo!
  • i was wondering the same thing, and got this response from someone on the facebook page:

The POP Pilates format is different from the classic Pilates format. It's higher in reps and intensity than regular Pilates. As you have seen in her videos, Cassey also combines all sorts of moves in her videos. (Squats, lunges, pushups are not Pilates moves. HIITs are not Pilates at all, etc.)

i log it as heavy calisthenics.
