Count Calories/Nutrition Before or After Cooking (ie Meat)

Hi there,

This might be a stupid question...but here it is...
Should you count the calories/nutrion of Meat (Beef, Chicken etc) Before or After cooking?

I've been weighting to see the diff. and the pre-cooked is quite a bit higher than cooked weight. I
e. tonight's boneless Chicken Breast...approx 180g before the BBQ and @ 112 after...seems like a big difference!! (Mind you, it was overcooked and a little dry...oops!)

Help...which is correct??
Thank you:)

Always use the pre-cooked weight. That goes for pretty much anything, including veggies and pasta.
