ok so for anyone out there that uses tuna helpers heres a really easy way to lower the calories and have a cheaper dinner....
use pasta ronis instead! Seriously. They taste better, theyre lower cals, they have way more flavors to experiment with, and you just throw in the tuna just like any old tuna helper!

we used to always have tuna helpers in the house because its quick and easy, but now I can make tuna mac using mac n cheese varieties and still have calories left over to crumble some ritz on top!

Probably a silly thread, but I thought Id share.

i love tuna helper  so do you just get the pasta ronis and add tuna? what flavors do you like?
I normally get the cheesy tuna helper and sub out skim milk and can't believe it's not butter spray but these sound yummy too!

Here at home we use cream of mushroom soup, tuna, some milk and pasta. You can make it pretty healthy. :drinker:

yep. I just get the pasta ronis and add the tuna either as its boiling or at the end. I like using cheesy corkscrew (or anything cheesy, really), the garlic olive oil, and ones with white sauces. Sometimes adding some chopped onion and broccoli or peas makes it even better! I follow the directions usually as they are on the box. The best part is, at least for someone with only 2 poeple in the house, the pasta ronis are smaller so theres less chance of over eating or leftovers lol

Ive only just started doing it, really...but so far I like it way better than the helpers!
