    Coconut Rum and Cranberry
    Vanilla or Whipped Vodka and Cranberry,

    Just about any flavored vodka or rum with sprite.

    It all depends on the flavors you like. If you usually drink Smirnoff, and comfortable with that, get that.

    A Purple Monster - It is a long island Iced Tea but instead of the coke, you have them put Chambord in it.

    I don't think she's worried that he's judging drinks. Personally, I never did that, or would think to. I think she just wants something to change up a routine or her "usuals" for the sake of embarking on something (hopefully) new. It doesn't mean she has to drink it forever.

    If you like beer, I suggest Red Stripe - it's not dark and heavy, and has a good "summery" flavor.
    If you want something mixed with light liquor - classic gin and tonic, or others have suggested rum & coke
    Dark liquor - my favorites are Jack and Coke Zero (or diet) and Captain and Coke Zero (or diet).

    All my favorite cocktails have two ingredients. One of them is ice.

    Knob Creek and Ice.
    Jack Daniels and Ice.
    Maker's Mark and Ice.
    Booker's and Ice.
    Bakers and Ice



    Oh yeah, and 99% of the time the other ingredient is Bourbon.

    You sir are awesome....my bourbons of choice Knob Creek or Maker's Mark. Although I deduct points for have JD on that list. LOL.

    OP...lots of good suggestions. I generally drink bourbon but a vanilla vodka and diet coke tastes just like a vanilla diet coke from Sonic.

    Vegas Bomb is a good starter...or just a plain ole Tequila shot followed by anything you want :)

    Drink what you normally drink! If you're used to Smirnoff and take out advice and start slamming vodkas... The night could go differently than you intend. Or you could Ralph on his shoes.

    As for me - Id say vodka cranberry. Or vodka tonic. Rum and diet coke is fairly low calorie.
