So excited my turbo fire will arrive either today or tomorrow!!!!! I cannot wait, after seeing so many of your results I just had to get it!!!
Any advice upon starting the program?
I keep trying to look up how many calories you burn for it, but it didn't make much sense I only found one person who was like 150 pounds.
Does anyone know a good website to calculate calories burned for turbo fire??

Have you thought about getting a heart rate monitor?0

I don't do Turbo Fire...but regular Turbo Jams and that is listed under kickboxing on the exercise database. It might be a bit low since Turbo Fire takes it up a notch but it might be a good place to start. Everyone on here has told me to get a HRM but I just always use the database and it works fine for me!0

I have a Polar FT4 and wear it specifically when I work out. It tells me how many calories I burn for that activity. I love it. Takes away the guesswork. Also helps me make sure I keep my heart rate in a healthy zone.0 -
I just got the Polar FT4 and I like it alot. I got to the gym get on a piece of equipment and my HR shows up immediately0

I use a Body Bugg to track calories burned.....I also have a Fitbit but it isn't as accurate in calculating calories....it's better for steps. (Like tracking them) I am a Turbo Kick instructor.....love Turbo Fire so much I became one! :happy:0

turbo fire is a set of about 12 different workouts so there isnt a set number of calories burnt - there are strength videos, cardio one and interval training type of videos all at different lengths.
if you managed to find someone else's calories burnt it will be different for you as you will be a different person going at a different intensity. i'd strongly reccomend investing in a heart rate monitor to see what you are burning. i got a decent one (Polar FT4) off of amazon for £50.0 -
On average I know you will burn about 650 calories, when you get the book, fuel the fire, it will say that, I think they base it on 140 lb person. I was averaging about 700, but I weigh more. The HIIT you will burn less, BUT the after burn is amazing.0

I have a HRM and have been doing Turbo Fire for a year. I burn anywhere from 350 to 700, depending on the workout and intensity. Some are 30 minutes, some 45, one 55, and one 60. Plus the HITT workout DVD's. Those I burn from 200 to 500 depending on which one I'm doing.0

Hello! Turbo Fire was one of my favorite workouts ever. It is so much fun! I would recommend doing the new to class the first time you do each class the first time.. that's where she breaks down all the moves and you sort of practice. Then the next time, go ahead and do the actual class. You will probably get lost a few times, and you might need to take a break or slow down, and that's fine,, just get right back to it when you're ready. Pretty soon you'll be able to keep up and you are going to have a blast! For calculating calories go ahead and get yourself an HRM or just log it under Turbo Kickboxing in the MFP database. If you get an HRM, I suggest the Polar FT4. It's simple but it works.. I love mine. Good luck, you are going to have a ton of fun. My favorite is Fire 45EZ.0

Thanks a lot guys!! That is great informtaion. It seems that the Polar HRM is the most popular among you so fit bit out and HRM in! Thanks a lot guys!!!0

Its soooo fun! I did Fire 45 today, and my body bugg clocked 771 cals burned!0

dont waste your time with the fit bit - its a pedometer with some additional perks.
To get truest calorie count get a good HRM with a chest strap - Polar brand, FT4 or FT7.
I have the polar ft7 and love it. I do not enter any exercises - just HRM BURNED CALORIES when I work out.0
