Macros and PCOS?

Hello everyone, so I've recently been diagnosed with PCOS and am wondering where my macros should be at. Now I've never messed with them before but after a little reading I've switched to 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat but I'm not certain that it lowers the carbs to far or not. Any advice would be appreciated because I feel like I'm completely shooting in the dark here. Thanks!
