That you shouldn't take dietary advice from a comedian and science writer...

But I bought into the low carb concept hook, line and sinker and changed my diet as a result. Not from watching Fat Head though I only heard about the movie while I was reading up on low carb diets but it's pretty persuasive, isn't it?

I think that generally speaking, people should look into valid reseach on whatever food documentary they watch, entirely for the bolded reasons above. EDIT: And by that I mean researching the topic, not the actual documentary, if that makes sense.

He wanted to make a docufilm from his point of view, and he did. There are many sides to every story.
I did like the bit where he hung out outside a McDonalds and waited to see if anyone would try and force him to eat junk food.

Absolutely, Sidesteal. I found Forks Over Knives (if that's the meat causes cancer one) just as convincing and was prepared to go vegetarian after watching it. Fortunately, I found that to be a bunch of nonsense when I looked into it so I never had to try and explain to my husband that we wouldn't be eating meat any more...that conversation wouldn't have gone over well. LOL

and the part where the really really fat people you see in other films aren't as common as they lead people to believe. i know obesity is an epidemic, but even he was classified as obese and not blubbering all over th eplace.

The point that excessive calories is the true problem was good.
