HRM calories burned

So, I have a Polar HRM and I just love it, but I was wondering about one of the functions. It will say, for instance, 300 calories burned, 60% fat. What does this mean, and what was the other 40% I burned?

I think it means that 60% of your calories were burned while you were in your fat-burning zone, and the other 40% of the calories were burned while in your cardio-burning zone. I'm not sure, but I think that in the fat burning zone, you don't have your heart rate as high as the cardio zone. There have been threads discussing the fat burning zone vs the cardio zone, so hopefully someone else can explain it better.0
