Anyone else have a huge appetite when they have a cold?

I have a cold + fever/sore throat thing at the moment :grumble:

But whenever I get a cold I always feel absolutely starving. Seriously I could probably eat my firstborn given the oppotunity!

I drink plenty (3 litres plus - approx 6 pints or more) but still am constantly ravenous regardless of how much I eat.

Am I the only one and is there anything I can to that will help take the edge of the hunger?
