Summer Motivation is Difficult!

So I've been on here for about 8 months and have been very successful thus far. However, I live in TX and its HOT here. Just this past week, we've already made it well into the triple digits several days in a row. While I love Zumba and never miss it, I find it so hard to get to the gym to do other cardio on non-Zumba days because its just so miserably hot outside. Its so hot I can't even take my dog for a walk because it stays in the 100's until the sun goes down and I'm not comfortable walking alone in the dark.

Any tips for keeping motivated to hit the gym in the dead heat of Summer?!

    How about mornings or after sun down? I live in Maine and the hardest time for me is winter. I don't have a gym close to me so most of my stuff is done outside... ugh! However, if we went by the seasons most of us wouldn't have very good results. Swimming is SUPER exercise, as long as you SWIM and not just FLOAT of course :wink: Good luck to you!     Even in the mornings its well into the 90's and it doesn't cool down until well after midnight! I'll just have to keep pushing on. Thanks!
