Well. Here I am...again. I first joined sometime last summer - July, I think it was. In fact, I've kept MFP up as one of my opening tabs when I turn the computer on everyday. I lost just over 30lbs. before Thanksgiving. Then decided I would take a break during the holidays and start back up after the new year. Well, I did that. But it wasn't too long before l slacked off. One excuse after another. Next thing I knew, I wasn't working out at all. A lot has happened recently, mostly a major move (AR to MS). Now I've decided to take a long break from working to focus on ME for awhile. We moved two weeks ago and am finally all settled into our new home. So I'm taking the rest of this week to soak in my new surroundings. I'm ready to get back on track starting bright and early Monday morning. I'm both excited and scared that I won't reach my goal without some support system. So of course, I came back to MFP.
I haven't gained anything. In fact, with all the stress of moving and everything, I think I may have lost a pound or two. So I guess that's good news. But even better news is that we found a house not even a mile from a beautiful lake/park. It's got a walking trail all around one portion of the lake and then a bike trail that I'm anxious to try out, not to mention all the hiking trails around the lake. I haven't ridden a bike in years and can hardly wait to see if I can still ride (that'll be a sight to see lol). Anyway. I need to reach my goal by my birthday in April. Another 35-40lbs. to go. I've never really worked out, outside of a gym before so this is all new to me too.

My only question is why are you waiting until Monday to get on track. What's wrong with today?0 -
