Gained calories to eat after working out?

So I always have gone by calories in/calories out. MFP says I should consume 1200 cal/day based on my goal of 2 lbs/week. Today I worked out and lost 250 cal and MFP says I gained those calories to eat. I'm confused by this. To be healthy must I eat those calories or can I just stick with the 1200? Thanks in advance and I hope this makes sense.

Yup, eat them.
Also, if setting your weight loss to 2lb a week is giving you 1200(the minimum MFP sets) perhaps you should think about changing to 1.5 or 1 lb a week? I know you want to lose weight fast(don't we all?) but you didnt put it all on overnight- you shouldn't safely lose it overnight. Just trying to help a little0
