Waist shrinking no change in weight

I have been doing what I'm doing - eating more fish, nuts, yogurt, and vegetables- for about a week and a half now, and I haven't really lost weight, but I have dropped a pant size. Clothes I had put in a bin years ago that didn't fit suddenly fit again. Before this new change, I had lost 15 lbs during my last semester in college, but my diet focus was different. during that time, I saw no change in clothes fitting. Now I am also doing a Jillian Michaels DVD. My theory is that I am burning fat but gaining muscle all while getting some benefit from specific foods that I wasn't getting beforehand. Is this possible?
