Running Shoes for heel spurs

I have had heel spurs in the past and have custom orthotics that I wear with my New Balance now.

I really want to do my first 5K and am working my butt off walking, hiking, and doing VERY light running at this stage.

Are there any other tennis shoes I could consider? I've had these forever and want to get a new pair.
