Things I'll keep - and that's ok!

As I lose the weight there will be several things about my body that will not change:
I will not get rid of my stretch marks. Stretch marks are scars in the deeper layer of the skin that will not bounce back as I lose the weight. Stretch marks are very individual, some people get them on their arms, boobs/chest (yes, i've seen very ripped guys with stretch marks on the chest), stomach, hips, thighs... Mine are on my hips, all the way along my legs, on my calves, horizontally on my inner thighs and evenly criss-crossing my butt. I will not get rid of these unless I'm willing to shell out the money for laser therapy or something like that... But! I am able to prevent new ones from coming by keeping my weight even, by regularly mositurising (in my case oiling) the skin. And the more I excercise, the better I look. Clothes off my *kitten* may look like it's got a net over it, but clothes on, I'm beginning to be bootylicious!
I will keep that bruise I got from go-carting. Again, it's probably (according to my doctor) never going to heal because it's a scar in the muscle tissue on my inner left calf. The bruise is about the size of my fist and has now faded to a cappuccino color. A bit unfortunate because the rest of me is very pale. But who cares, I've got full mobility and the thing no longer hurts the moment anything at all brushes against it. The leg is now as strong as my other leg.
I will keep the crooked spine from carrying by books on one shoulder in HS. But I no longer have to put up with the pain. Back and core excercises make my muscles stronger, thus taking the pressure off my spine. It makes my posture better, releives the pain and even helps me breathe better!
I have not always been the best host to my body but I will do better, I will take care of it and make sure I get to keep it for another 50 or 60 years. maybe even 70 (I'm 27 now :P)
What'll you keep from the old you?
