Starting Over

Hi everyone!! How's everyone doing? I'm excited to be on here and getting control of my life again. I'm 25 and weigh about 335 (as of Saturday). I've struggled with weight issues my entire life. I lost about 75 pounds my junior and senior years of high school and was able to keep most of it off in college by playing rugby. Once I graduated the stress of Grad school and working full time and lack of regular exercise got to me and I put all the weight back on by about double. I'm ready to turn my life around for good though. I've joined a gym and hired a personal trainer to whip my butt into shape! I've revamped my diet and am going to the gym regularly. Granted, it's only been a week, but I am so excited to be on a new path and can't wait to see where this journey leads me!
I'm excited to have this support group to help me out, so I'd love to get to know some of you! And if anybody is from the Baltimore, MD area, maybe we can be workout buddies!!

Welcome Lindsey! Glad to hear you have gotten back into the swing of things! What kind of dietary lifestyle and workout regimen are you on? Are they working well for you stability-wise? I know you said it has only been a week so I don't expect you to know how well physically they are working for you yet.0

I'm eating about 40% protein and fat each and about 20% carbs (mostly pre-workout). My trainer has me doing circuit training mixing in equal parts agility, cardio, weights, and resistance training. I really like it so far. It's hitting everything I need as I'd like to be able to play rugby again by next Spring. I'm weighing in again tomorrow afternoon before the session with my trainer, so we'll see how everything is going!
Thanks for the support guys!
What position did you play??0
