Make your own oatmeal bars/muffins! Here's my basic recipe that you can add to, inspired from blogger Chocolate Covered Katie:
(makes four bars)
1 cup rolled oats (organic)
3/4 cups milk or water
A pinch of salt
Sugar if desired
Any flavourings such as vanilla, maple, mint, etc
Or toppings such as nuts and chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients and place into muffin cups. Cook in oven for about 20 minutes or more if you want them crispier. It keeps for up to a week for they taste better if eaten less than four or five days after cooking.0
