Being an American, I'm pretty much subjected to what's on the radio. Well, I had a German coworker a few years back and he introduced me to a whole new world. I can't understand a lick of it, but I love Oomph!, Rammstein, and Eisbrecher.
I current coworker is Mexican and has been giving me clips of spanish music too...
What do you guys listen to that is out of your realm?

well...it's not out of my realm (any more). But I'm an athletic trainer working with a soccer team that has TONS of Brazilians on it...so I get a full dose of Michael Telo', Jorge and Mateus, and many others. Sad thing is, after a few years of these guys, I actually understand most of it! I also have an Australian player who has gotten me listening to Jimmy Barnes.0

I'm looking to expand my horizons.
I just googled Jorge and Mateus, I like Amo Noite e Dia! Very catchy!
Youtube is keeping me entertained at work this morning...0 -
it is! and Michael Telo's "Ai Se Eu Te Pego" is a staple on our warm-up mix (and my workout!)
"se ela dança eu danço" by Mc Leonzinho is a bit older...but it's not a soccer season here without it! lol0 -
The Netherlands is producing some amazing artists...Miike Snow, Lykke Li, etc.
Check out hypem.com they have a bunch of artists from all over the place...
Some other international artists...if you like Mexican..or Spanish: Manu Chao (South American), Jorge Drexler (Spain), Bebe (Spain), Carlos Vives (Columbian), Mana (Mexican), Paolo Nutini (Scottish or Irish).
I could go on, but will spare you0 -
I've heard of Mana! They're like a mexican version of U2. :laugh:0

Most Mexican music you've heard on the radio stations tend to be crap. There is a whole realm of Mexican music that is not mainstream but amazing nonetheless.0 -

Nah, I've just been exposed to a lot of different cultures.
