Small steps: Intro

Hey guys! My name is Amber. 32, engaged, two stepsons, active in blues dancing. Over the last year I have been making small changes that are easy to make and they are coming together to make me healthier and happier. My goals have been pretty ambiguous. I just want to be fit and healthy. I want to be in great shape for when I get married next March and then shortly thereafter, I will be working on getting pregnant. Since I want to keep up exercising during pregnancy, I am working hard to make it routine for me.
Currently the major change is I now run three times a week doing Couch to 5K. I am on week 3 but don't let that fool you. I do each week several times. I have actually been running since January but got sick several times and had to restart so to speak and that slowed my progress. I will be going into week 4 possibly next week. A part of why I am not going through it faster is because my running partner is not as able as I so I have been trying to push but not going beyond his ability. (its somewhat frustrating though).
I have recognized a significant change in my cardio abilities. I am really loving the results though I haven't lost any substantial weight. On that subject, I am not terribly overweight or anything and don't need nor want to lose much weight. 15 lbs is about the max I want to lose. I want to be stronger. I want to go up and down stairs without getting winded. I want to feel better physically in all aspects. Perhaps that will help how much I get sick.
I'm already a very positive person and I am also quite determined. When i decided to make the changes I have made, I just got up and did them. The biggest setback I have is my limited time due to working 7 days a week and studying to get a better job but I am working through that as best I can with the love and support of my family.
So there you go
