FITNESS REBELLION

Hey Pals,
I hope your weight loss journey is going wonderfully. This past week and towards the end of last week I have been in a state of rebellion. Partly because I got my hair done and partly because I haven't lost any weight! I stepped on the scale the other day at the gym and am sitting at the SAME weight that I have been at forever! I thought to myself...why am I doing all this for no scale movement. So, I've been fighting MFP all week. I eat whatever I want, haven't exercised...THE WHOLE NINE!! I've logged in, barely, at the end of the night, i just take estimates of what I can remember and log it in.

(But there's a happy ending)
Yesterday I went to JCPenny's because I was waiting to pick up my glasses from the eye doctor so I had time to look around. I went and saw they had a LOT of pretty summer skirts and dresses...all a size BELOW my size. I thought to myself "man, if I keep working out, I can get into this". I ended up trying on some clothes and get this: SOME WERE TOO BIG!!!! Normally I am an XL in tops and a size 16 in pants. I ft into L and M tops!! (Now the medium wasn't as flattering, but hey, I was in there!)

I said all that to say that no matter how much we fight it, we wouldn't be on this weightloss journey if we didn't recognize our potential and if we didn't feel as though we could accomplish it. It encourages me when I go into the success stories blog and see all of everyone's gorgeous transformations. So, after this week, I will be back on the MFP band wagon! I told myself that I was too great not to deserve the best in every aspect of my life: including my health, weight, and appearance.

Don't put yourself on the back burner! Make a committment, rebel if you want to (because I most certainly do) and get right back in the game.

Thanks for reading, be blessed!
