PCOS & hypoglycemia diet? :/

I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year and a half ago. I had virtually no symptoms (my periods were regular, no skin problems, no weight gain). The only symptoms I had was a little excess hair on the stomach and some cysts on my ovaries. They originally checked my thyroid, but it came back normal. My doc put me on depo.
I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia 10 years ago (at age 8). However, I do not think I have it anymore because I can go long periods of time without eating and my blood sugar will not plummet. I no longer need to eat every 2 hours either.
Anyways...
Would a low carb diet be good for PCOS, even though mine is mild? I do not know whether or not I am insulin resistant, but I did/do have a blood sugar disorder.
**I have lost 22 pounds since being diagnosed with PCOS. I know weight loss can significantly help, if not reverse PCOS. I haven't had an ultrasound recently so I do not know if I still have it or not. Just trying to help in case I do!
Thanks :)
