Non-food ways for significant others to say "I luv you"

I hear a lot of people saying that their significant other isn't supportive and buys them chocolate or pizza or something else to sabotage their diet. That sucks!
What are some other ideas for things people can buy their significant other to say "I CARE!" without it being FOOD.
1. FLOWERS!
2. tickets to a show (the movies, a play, the orchestra, whatever)
3. a magazine that you know they like to read
others?
