I would like to be 20 lbs. lighter by the end of 2009 ... that would bring me to 169 lbs.
July 16 - 189 lbs.
July 23 - 187.5 lbs. (-1.5 lbs.)
July 30 - 186 lbs. (-1.5 lbs. this week)(-3 lbs. since the Thursday group formed)
Aug 6 - 184.5 lbs. (-1.5 lbs. this week)(-4.5 lbs. since the Thursday group formed)

I did'nt lose anything this week, but I also have'nt really been working out, thats probably why.

Hey there Cindy ... Welcome welcome welcome. Well today started off better then yesterday's barium testing. I had some fibre one for breakfast and am now enjoying my Timmy's coffee. It's going to be busy for me this weekend ... tonight I'm giving a ghost tour (due to the full moon tonight), then tomorrow I'm off to Ottawa (6 hour drive) for a Family Reunion on Sunday and then we'll drive back on Monday so I can get back to my regular job on Tuesday. Wow ... I'm pooped just thinking about it. So how about all of you? Any plans for the weekend?0 -

I am just getting up so I haven't thought about breakfast yet. I am thinking connamon toast and a poach egg and let over eggplant., some diced canned tomatoes and a glass of tang.
For lunch, I have some tuna salad left over. will have it and some bell peppers and sliced tomatoes.
For supper it will be Beef skirt cooked in foil packet wit some veggies.
During the day I will also have 2 fruits, 2 glasses milk 1T olive oil. Lots of veggie and water.fill up on veggie.

Well I am on day 3 and lost 2lbs and I was just thinking of what my year end goal should be like magglett. I know the first bit comes off really quick so I don't want to set up for failure so any suggestions ladies?0 -

Good Morning everyone,
So, the day before yesturday I overate a lot. I was just really hungry after dinner, so I ate too much and I ate food that don't go together on top of that, and that night I felt awful, I was still sick all day yesturday. I could'nt even eat dinner. Definatly learned my lesson on the consequences of over eating:laugh: I'm laughing now, but it was not a pretty site when it was happening. I am fine now and its behind me. Today is a new day.

Hi everyone, :flowerforyou: Maggie, A ghost tour ??? Ohh I was I could be there !! I love all things scary ! I am working today 4-8 pm and I have to let my neighbors dogs out 3 times throughout the day . She's leaving until Monday night so I'll take care of her 3 dogs all weekend. I have no plans so far for the weekend other than I work 2pm-8pm tomorrow. I need to start getting things organized for our trip. I'm a list maker so lists I will make.
Maria, I'll try to get Avery to take a full length picture tonight before I leave for work. I'm going to walk 3 miles here in a few minutes. I'm not sure Iff I'll walk another 2 miles tonight or do the shred instead. Breakfast is going to be 2 eggo nutrigrain waffles w/ 1/4 cup sf syrup and 1 turkey sausage pattie. Lunch- a whole wheat pita pocket stuffed with veggies and turkey pepperoni and some low fat cheese and a yogurt. Dinner- brown rice with black beans beans mixed in . I also add salsa and sometimes corn. I'll wrap this mixture up in a couple corn tortillas. Yummy. I'll snack on an Apple- fiber one bar- and probably some air popped popcorn. I am finding it hard with my sugars, most of them are coming from fruit but still they are always way above what is recommended. Today I tried to add more protein and snacked on veggies instead of fruit but i am still over.
What i find challenging is i work 14 hours a day starting at 6am and finishing at 8:30pm so most of my meals are from the microwave if I can i pack for the day but that doesn't always happen so it's alot of frozen meals. I choose low cal options but a meal from a box is a meal from a box lol.
I find that most easy foods of course are full of carbs. Any ideas ladies?0 -
14 hours a day of work. That does make it bad for a dieter...........

yeah a little tough at times to make sure you get the right foods in. Plus not really getting the sleep needed but I AM GOING TO DO IT this time0

Hi everyone, Marie, Yep I'm dog sitting all weekend. I worked at the store from 2-8pm tonight. I came home and we walked to our local Mcdonalds so dh could eat and I had a sugar free iced coffee. Super yummy. It was a little over 2 miles. I walked a total of 5 miles today. I can't wait to see that 100 pound loss !!!! I am going to be good in MO so i hope I don't gain anything. I'm not expecting a loss but not gaining will be good enough for me. I know we'll be walking alot. I plan to walk on my own some too so I can get some 13 minute miles in. I have tomorrow off from the store. I plan on walking at least 5 miles and possibly doing the 30 day shred. My monthly visitor arrived today so I doubt I see a loss on the scale tomorrow. Oh well. Hi there gang ... sorry I missed the board yesterday ... I was crazy busy with family obligations. I'm sitting in Ottawa right now at my daughter's place having a little break from it. Last night we went to my hubby's cousin's place where they had a backyard party ... another cousin is a professional musician (he plays for Johnny Reid ... a country singer) and he was in town so we had a big jam session ... it was a nice time. Then today we were at a Conservation area in Quebec for the big family reunion ... there was a lunch and a dinner (not too many healthy choices at all) but I walked a lot and also did some peddle boating with my daughter so I'm sure I burned off a bunch of calories ... and I also drank tons of water. All in all it was a lovely day of games and reuniting with people we haven't seen in years and eating ... good times were had by all. I won't be near a scale again until Tuesday so we'll see if there's been any damage done then.0

Marie, We're leaving this next Saturday at 5 am. It's an 11 hour drive. I'm going to pack the cooler with apples,grapes, pretzels, Pb and sf jelly sanwiches, fiber one bars and yogurt drinks. Of course water too. I hope to only make a few stops when we have to. My hayfever is horrable right now and I'm worried Mo might make it worse. I hope not. I'm going to go crazy this week getting ready to go. I'm glad I only work 2 days this week. I hope everyone has a great week !! Nighty night, Cindy0

Hi Cindy and the rest of you.
I walk a little further this morning, went to WalMart, and went to the furniture store and got me a new TV chair. Jerry watch movies that I don't like and did not have a confortable chair in my craft room to enjoy TV at night.
I been having Jay Robb's protein shakes today. Howerver my blood sugar got low and I had 1/2 banana and s small tub of greek yogurt. But I will cook me some veggies and cottage cheese tonight. I really like those protein shakes. whixh remidnd me that I have not kept up my food dairy today. better go tend to that.
Maggie, have a safe trip coming home today. Look for you back tomorrow.

Hi guys, Welcome back Maggie. :flowerforyou: I'm at work and nothing is happening. It's sooooo boring. I'm here until 8 pm. I only work 1 more day this week . marie, your dinner sounds yummy. I'm making black beans with brown rice . I add salsa and some low fat sour cream and low fat cheese. Yummy- I might wrap it up in a couple corn tortillas. I am going to walk 3 miles after dinner. Hi there my friends ... Hope all is well in your life. I know it's Tuesday but it feels like a Monday here at work ... everyone has long faces here today. I think it's because there's not much sun happening here in Niagara Ontario. Oh well ... I have a 1 hour massage scheduled for after work today and I'm really looking forward to it ... then I'm housesitting for a friend of mine ... by tomorrow things will be back to normal for me for a while ... I hope. So far today I've done well with my eating ... breakfast = quaker's weight control oatmeal and a Timmy's coffee with milk ... lunch = chicken wrap with lettuce & tomatoes with no dressing, raw baby carrots, raw cauliflower, and yogurt with berries. Of course I'm drinking oodles of water too. How is everyone else's day going so far ... write if you get a chance.0

Things are going well here. I am working on a Christmas vest. I am embroiderying on blocks and will put them all tohether.. Trying to keek my mind off of food.

My schedule is pretty hectic, I'm not going home at all, so I'll be picking something up today ... either Mcdonalds mediterranian salad with grilled chicken or swiss chalet chicken with steamed veggies. I've been snacking on carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower for the past 1/2 hour so I'm not really hungry right now so I'll grab something after my massage. I still have 494 calories to play with and I haven't taken my hike yet so who knows what I'll decide in the end.0

Hi ladies, I was wondering where everyone went (I was writing under the old group name :flowerforyou: ) Hope you all had a great weekend. I moved my daughter back to university and thought I was doing well by going to Quizno's well boy was I wrong!!!! I went to enter my food when I got home and the "salad" that I had ended up having 500 calories and 48g of fat in the dressing......I couldn't believe it I had to check 3 times and on the quizno's site and yep that's what it was:explode:0
