I am 5' 2" and my goal weight is 120 and if I can get to 115 that would be even better.

I'm 5' 4" not sure about my frame size and not sure what my goal weight is really. When I started this journey I thought it would be 140lbs, then I lowered it to 133 then 126lbs. I'm 134lbs now and it's just become a number really as what I really want to do is to lose my mummy belly. So I will carry on until that is a more acceptable size to me. It could be in another 2lbs or another 7lbs - who know??!

I'm 34 years old, 5'3", smallish frame (but big chest), and 143lbs, and my goal right now is 139.5lbs (which puts me at the 75lb. weight loss mark and within the healthy BMI range), but I don't plan to stop there. I want to get down to at least 135lbs. and then once I get there, I'll re-evaluate again. My likely ultimate goal will be somewhere between 125-135lb. range.

    Hi all,

I'm 5'4 - currently at 134 lbs and on my way to finding a happy size. My happiest weight was probably in the range of 117-120 lbs but I don't nor have I really ever weighed myself often, if ever. That was about 3 years ago, when I was really active and fit.

The only advice I have in terms of weight loss is to not focus so much on the number - muscle weighs more than fat and looks healthier. I know girls who are super thin and are unhappy because they look and feel unhealthy, and I know girls around my size who are superfit and LOVE their bodies. It's all about you at your happiest :)

Have a goal feeling, not a goal weight :)

I never look at a scale. I went to see a medical specialist a couple of days ago who forced me to look at my weight. I'm almost 5' 3", like you. When I saw that I weigh 120, I was horrified. I'm 48 years old and have thought I was around 110 pounds. I've been 90 pounds until 5 years ago, I've also stayed at a consistent 100 pounds for almost 2 decades. His forcing me to look at the scale seemed very cruel to me, I took him to be saying "You're FAT." I decided to go on a very extreme diet. I've done it before and this schmuck is making me do it again. He asked me what I thought of what I weigh when I looked at the scale; I told him that I was horrified. He didn't react in any way. I assume that was his way of telling me I need to lose weight. That is how I feel about me, my weight. I don't judge other people by their weight. What feels right to you, is what you should go by.

One more thing; doctors have told me that weight loss is 85% about what you eat. Fitness really doesn't affect weight loss much. It's good for you, you'll be stonger if you work out, but it really has very little to do with actual weight loss.
