Couch to 5K?

Anyone overweight and doing the couch to 5K? My hubby and I recently started the program to help us lose weight and to motivate us to attend a 5K in the fall. Just wondering how it's going for others like us =)

    I used it when I first started running....it's a good program.

    Now I run daily (2.5-5 miles per run) and I've completed a half and a full marathon. :)
    Be warned...........running becomes addictive, but MAN do you burn a lot of calories!! :D

    Yep...on week 5 now...kind of! :) I started it 1 month ago after 35 years of absolutely NOT being a runner...and yesterday I ran 20 minutes straight. I love it!

    Take it slow, repeat a week if you need to. Ibuprofen is your friend.
