Hi there

I've been adding exercises to my exercise diary, my main one is walking as I'm a mum of 4 so do plenty of walking to and from schools and nurseries etc. I walk pretty quick as I'm generally running late! But I'm also pushing a double buggy with a 3yr old and a 14 month old, does that burn more calories than just walking? Also I'm pretty stop start stop start as I do the shopping on the way plus obviously stop at the school, how much does that effect the calories burned?

Thanks!

Since I don't have an HRM I use MapMyWalk to measure my calories burned, it's a GPS app that is more accurate because it actually follows you around and measures your speed. An HRM is the best solution but the app is free if you have a smartphone.
