WWYD?

The hubby and I are making sub sandwiches for dinner tonight. I purchased sub buns from our grocery store bakery and of course they do not have NI. How many calories do you think a 5-6 inch sub bun would be? 300 maybe?

Thanks!

Look up a 6 inch Italian roll from subway, or look under "generic" after you search "sub bun" on MFP

I would cheat and go look at Subway's nutritional menu online. I think they break it down all the way to the bread. Just a thought. It should be close. Good luck

Does it have a bar code? I try that first.

Expand your search terms! There might be some regional differences that you can get some info from, i.e., grinder roll, hoagie roll, po' boy roll....

I had a similar problem and I called the store's corporate office and they were able to give me the info. I got the number off their website.

You can use the Great Value/Walmart sub bun values. It's probably pretty close...

Oh geez, I need to start thinking outside the box. First I will try the barcode and if that does not work, Subway it is!

Thanks for the generic tip too....I an kind of new and did not know about that option!

This. A lot of products have a "call this number for nutritional info" number printed where the info should be.

Make a lettuce roll with it and forget the bun, you get more yummy stuff that way LOL.
