Ever made dumb mistakes on the road?

Im talking about the little mistakes that you have almost ended up in an accident or maybe did end up in an accident that probably could have been prevented? For me I guess it would be flashing red lights. I have gone before when it wasn't my turn and I had to speed so fast so I wouldn't get hit. DUMB mistake!

    Yep, at a light that always has an advanced green. Well, this time it didn't and I turned any ways not paying attention. Had to slam on the gas so as not to get hit.

    Sure, was daydreaming, pulled up to a stop sign and waited for it to turn green. Didn't realize until the guy behind me blew the horn. Whoops!

    I have accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake before -- luckily nothing happened but, not good.

    I've done this before in a driveway lol. I had to slam on the brakes needless to say.

    Every now and then I take a left hand turn and when I turn I see the light is red and almost stop before I remember MY light was green but I changed direction!

    I have done the opposite in that I stopped at a red light for a moment looked both ways and then started to go while the light was still red -as if the red light were a stop sign

    I hadn't even made it out onto the road! I was rushing to get my kids somewhere and got in my husband's Tahoe at the top of the driveway. Started to back up and hit something. I forgot my car was parked behind him. :ohwell:
