So, the last week was filled with NSVs..Fitting into old pants, old jeans, old dresses, people noticing at work, co workers commenting on how great I looked a bit of weight lost and all that..you would think I would be fired up...well I always am..but as the time for my workout gets nearer..a sudden sense of complacency has begun to grip me..I have loads of weight more to lose and a long way to go yet, I cant help feeling complacent at time and wonder what harm can it do if I miss a workout..help..help me stay motivated..

Please feel free to add me and help me on my journey...

Combined with my knee injury, I feel the same way. Then I go and look at the pictures in the success story threads and get my motivation all over again. My knee is just now starting to feel better, yesterday and today. So I've been out of my routine for at least a week and lack the motivation to get back into it.

    We can do this!

    Hi Nikocan,

Whenever I lose site of the big picture, I look at my before picture and think about what I felt like when I wasn't on the road to a fit and healthy lifestyle. I was sluggish, didn't want to go out much because of the way I looked. Create a photo journal of where you were and where you are. Whenever you lose a pant/dress size, take another pic and add it. Use this journal and the compliments everyone is giving you as fuel to get through your exercise. If you have a picture of yourself in tip top shape, make that your wallpaper on your cell phone so you can be constantly reminded of where you're trying to go. I do and boy does it help motivate me. The picture on my weightloss tracker is me in the best shape I had ever been in and that's one of the things that keeps me motivated. Trust me, once you get started, you'll be glad you did! Added you as a friend!
