    I am 5'2 120 lbs and have a 27 inch waist, I just want one more inch off but don't want to risk losing more on my hips as the inches seem to come off together in those places

    Seems like everyone around my height and weight has a smaller waist than me.

    Well here goes, jan 1st 2013, 35 in at 150.5 and 4ft 10in , now 28 in and 124lbs and before kids 26 to 27 in and at 120lbs before kids and at 105, Id love to see that number again:) funny how before kids no matter my weight my waist didn't change much. but my hips sure did :)

    my daughters are 15 months and turning 3 August 10th, so a time frame reference .

    I am 5'6". When I started on 5/18/12, my waist was 43". Today it is 37 inches. I always had a small waist, too, but age is having an effect on that and my waist will probably be the last place I will lose as much as I need to. But I can wait...I am happy with 6 inches that are gone. :)

    I am 5' 5", I weigh 149 lbs and my waist is 28 inches.
    My measurements are 34-28-36 which is insane to me considering I once had a 40 inch waist.

    Just recently my husband was diagnosed with diabetes. We were advised that a person's waist measurement should not be more than half of their height.
