does anyone know approx how much calories u burn for doing 1 hour of zumba. i am doing it 3 nites a week

    I go for an hour long zumba class 4 times a week. It depends on the instructor and your dancing intensity. I don't have a HRM, so I don't know exactly how much I burn. A couple of reliable websites say that most people overestimate the calories burnt by 200-300 cals because zumba ads tend to say you burn 600-1000 cals per hour. I estimate it to be around 450-650 per hour. That is what a couple of women wearing HRMs in our class say they burn too.

    ok b/c i wanted to record my exercise so since i couldnt find zumba i just listed dancing general and for an hour i think it said like 684 calories all i know is i sweat like crazy. what is hmr
