It was all going so well . . .

It was all going so well until one of my big motivators came and went. I fitted into the dress for the Diamond Jubilee service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral. When that was over I started school report writing and boredom crept in . . . . . .unhealthy snacks returned. Excercise reduced, increased sitting at the computer for hours. Lots of my old habits have returned . . late nights, early mornings, sweets at all hours, biscuits, cakes and comfy food.

As a result I am back to square 1. I am almost finished writing . . 4 to go and the deadline is Monday. I know that I have put on at least 5lb. Feeling a bit bad about the whole thing and finding it hard to restart . . .

The world hasn't ended and your guilt is an indication that you aren't happy about it. Starting over isn't easy but your not starting over. You have learned a valuable lesson about how easy it is to fall back into the same old habits that led to your weight gain in the first place. Find the time to really reflect on your situation, your health, and your body and I guarantee you will find inspiration to continue working towards a better you. Living healthy is a lifelong battle and your going to get your butt kicked a lot of times. The most important thing is that you never give up on yourself and you continue to push yourself through the tough times.
