This just doesn't feel like enough...

So I posted a few days ago about whether anyone had any success with the simplefit.org circuit training (http://www.simplefit.org/workout.html) and no one really responded. That's fine.

I've done three days of this, all on level 1. I know, I know, that's not really enough time to gauge if it's doing anything, or is it? The very first day, Level 1 Day 1, left me SORE. The other two days, hardly anything. I thought Day 3 would be crazy hard! But nope. I could go up a level, but all in all, I'm just not liking this routine.

I have a Bayou Fitness Total-Trainer DLX (http://www.homefitnessequipment.org/images/products/detail/dlx039300_blk.jpg) and I want to use it; currently been using it for pull-ups. I'm thinking crafting my own routine would be best.

What kind of exercises do you guys enjoy using this type of equipment?

Don't know that program. But I like to find exercises or routines I can enjoy... increases the chances I'll stick with them.

Hello. Yeah I checked out the program you are on. I see that they only have you do pull ups, pushups, and squats. That seems pretty boring especially on endurance days. I am doing a similar program that I enjoy. It's called 7 weeks to getting ripped. They have an iphone and android app. I think it cost me 2 dollars. I think you would really enjoy this program more than your current one. They really mix it up with different exercises every day and then at the end they tell you to freestyle your own cardio workout for a set time. A free program from the same people that do the "7 weeks to getting ripped" is called "7 weeks to fitness" .. do a google search and you'll find it. You may find that program more to your liking.

Yeah, the idea behind just pull ups/push ups/squats is it's *simple* like the site's name. It's kinda supposed to be idiot-proof. It just doesn't feel like it's doing anything for me and yeah, a little boring.

Well the program I mentioned is idiot proof if you have a phone you can get it on or if you buy the book. They have pictures and it's all no weights.

Oh also they have a pretest unlike the program you are on. So you do your max push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and squats for the test and it will tell you where you should be in the program.

Unfortunately I have a stone-age phone, so no apps for me. But you did remind me that my boyfriend has workout books somewhere in the house, even possibly the one you're mentioning. Now I'm going to go hunt for them!
