Hi fitness friends...

Well, that's it... My big running fundraising challenge page is live and ready for you to look at and donate if you feel like it. I am raising money for 4 different charities close to my heart and really want to make a difference. I am signed up to run another 3 events as 2 have already been & gone but also thinking of adding another possible 1 or 2... Please help me smash my target by sponsoring me... Instead of giving myself reasons why I can’t, I give myself reasons why I can!!!....

I decided to run the following 5 events this year in aid of 4 fantastic charities. Running is a passion and I truly love the feeling of escapism it gives me when I’m outside in the fresh air. I took up running 2 years ago and have not looked back since. I’m now so pleased to be committed to running a half marathon and the Great South 10 miles run in a few month time. This year has been a challenge as the weather has not been kind but cold, rainy, icy, muddy and windy conditions have not stopped me and I hope that my training efforts will not be in vain and that you can all help me raise money to support my chosen charities. 3 of them are in support of Cancer Research, Breast Cancer Campaign & Macmillan Cancer Support and the 4th is Anna’s Challenges which is a charity (set up by a friend of mine) dedicated to raising funds and awareness for children with Cystic Fibrosis. These charities are fantastic and doing such a wonderful job in helping, supporting & raising awareness but without our support, they can’t so please help me help them! We all have a family member, close friend or somebody we simply know that suffers with Cancer or Cystic Fibrosis and this is something I can’t help but my charities of choice can, are and will…

Virgin Money Giving is a not a profit organization and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. All your donations will simply be split between all 4 charities equally so they all get a share of your kind heart!

19th May 2012 - 5K Runway Challenge (Farnborough Airport) Done

20th June 2012 - 5K Race for Life (Basingstoke) Done

22nd July 2012 – 10 K Race for Life (Portsmouth)

7th October 2012 – Half Marathon 2012 (Windsor)

28th October 2012 – Bupa Great South 10 miles Run (Portsmouth)
