I'm trying to do this but nothing is happening! How much did you go up by? I originally tried increasing by 400 calories/day, but I just couldn't eat that much so I've now increased it by 200 calories/day on what I had originally.

Thanks! That is my "baby" Brutus, however, at close to 6 years old, he is about 8x that size now but still as cute!

    WELL DONE!!

I have just had my numbers calculated for EMWL, but I was wondering how much/what kind of food people eat, I feel I've been eating quite a lot the last few days anyway, what do I do to get to 2100 while still eating healthily? Is it hard work?

I certainly don't find eating more hard work! Feel free to check out my food diary if you like. I probably range between 1600-1800 or so, going way over on the weekends. I have not been at this for very long but maybe it will give you some ideas... Not sure if you have to friend me or not to take a look but feel free to do that too!

I probably went up by at least 400. I work out nearly every day so I am burning alot.

I work out every day as well, and I eat clean. Stupid body.

"Brutus" does that mean you are a Buckeye stuck in PA?

I think it works for some, not for others... all you can do is try and try again! Who knows, I am only 1 week into it, I could have a different story next week!

I stay at my 1200 calories 6 days a week and then have one spike day per week to keep my metabolism up - usually going to around 2000 calories on that day. I always feel so full though at the end of the day and don't feel like I need to binge/overeat on the other days as my special day is not far away :) well done to you....keep up the good work x

Hi ladies! I know weight loss is different for men and women, but it is the same when you get down to it. The key is to finding what you RDI. That would be your goal calorie count for the day. I have found that it is all about how many calories you take in and how many you burn. Females will burn less and will only be able to eat less. There have been a number of female biggest losers. It is all a mind set. Stay focused. You have to eat calories to loss weight. Do not starve yourself. You can do it!
