Gals who are 5'3 and weigh around 140??

I am 5'3 and 185 and am trying to decide what to make my goal weight,WW always said 140 for the top but I know I look great at 150.

...So if you don't mind sharing some photos so I can find some friends with similar body types who are around that weight that would be greatly appreciated :flowerforyou:

    I'm 5'2 and 143 right now. I'd like to get down around 130 though, I'm pretty petite. My newest pic is in my profile :) Feel free to add me!

    I'm 5'4" and currently 139lbs. I started at 155 lbs. These pictures are from June 1st, I haven't lost any more pounds, but my tummy has shrunk more. I hope to get to around 125-130lbs in the end.

    You look amazing:smile: but the last time I weighed 120 I was 12 years old,I am 40 now :cry: plus I carry my weight pretty well...then again my lowest weight as an adult has been 142,have never tried to go below that ...who knows lol

    Go for whatever makes you comfortable, if it makes you feel good then shoot for under 140 just to prove that you can do it!

    I am almost 5'4 and i currently weight 133 as of this morning. My goal was 130 but i'm thinking a little lower then that now, i just need to continue to tone my butt and legs. Profile pic is recent from this month a few weeks ago.

    Ya I'm 23, 2 kids. U can get there if u really try. All threw high school I was about 130. After pregnancy I was 145. I didn't think I could do it but I kinda did. I've been maintaining a couple months and just recently decided to really try for the 115.

    I was around 240 on the day I had both my kids,5 years apart :sad:
    I will just keep doing what I am doing and see where it takes me :happy:

    My pro is of me at 151 just for comparison. I'm 5'2" and I am planning to lose 30-40 more lbs but my ticker says 47 I think lol. Just for reference!

    I really wouldn't go by that chart, or by BMI's!!! On my wedding day, I was 140. I am the same height, I think I looked good, and it was a real struggle for me to get to that weight and maintain it for the wedding. I have definitely gained weight since then, and I think the reason is that it was too low for me. My goal this time is higher than that because I want to be able to maintain it easily. Life is no fun if you NEVER eat out, NEVER eat what you like, and NEVER drink alcohol again! That's what I had to do to get down there. I will post a pic later. I don't have one on this computer. However, I think 5'3 140 is great. I think 5'3 160 is good, too, depending on your body type. I carry weight well. I have never been super skinny, but even doctors can't look at me and guess my weight. And on my wedding day, that BMI chart still had me as obese! I can starve myself and will never make that thing happy, so I am never looking at it again, lol!

    I agree with you,I don't think I could get down to 120 that is almost 70lbs off of me and I think I would look sick.Like I said earlier I was 12 yrs old and weighed 120 and I was skinny!!Being skinny is not my main goal I want to be fit and strong and at a healthy weight for me.I have big legs and calves,my upper body tends to be smaller.I am a different size on the top than the bottom :ohwell:
    BMI says my lowest is 113,pretty sure one leg weighs that :laugh:
    I dont want to never eat cake again or have a night out with the my husband or go to the movies and have popcorn,I want to live my life and have treats now and then,thats my problem it is way too often.

    Same here, when I was 185! They didn't believe me. Now I am 170 and people think I'm in the 150s. It's all about how your body carries it. I'm 5'4", 170, looking to be around 140-- 125-135 at my best.

    I'm 5'3" and 148, aiming for about 130 to start with. I don't have any pics on here yet. I have to say though, you do carry your weight well. You look much, much better than I did at 185! That said, I'm sure if you wanted to you could get to 140 or less, I've seen plenty of success stories on here from people in their 40s and 50s. It is attainable, but you might not want that. I'm sure you're going to look great at 150!

    I'm 5'3" and currently 146 I started at 155 and I'm also tryint to get down to 130. My bmi says I have to weigh less than 141 lbs to be considered healthy weight but I think I carry it well in my 140s I just want a smaller tummy and butt lol comes with having kids I suppose.

    Ok, feeling dumb, I found a pic of me on my honeymoon that is my whole body. It was hard to tell what I weighed in my wedding dress. Now I don't know how to post the picture...:embarassed:

    I am 5' 3" and currently weigh 157. I set my goal at 135, but I am 48 and loss has been incredibly slow (I am not complaining because before I started doing p90x I wasn't losing ANYTHING). But honestly I don't know if I'll ever get lower than 145. In both pictures in my profile I am 165 but I lost lots of inches in the picture on the right. After 8 weeks I'm 157 but I'm fitting into size 8's. In high school I weighed around 140 and wore size 12s. So my point is I think you can weigh more than your "healthy range" if you have more muscle. Feel free to add me!

    I really want to get down to 130's- I am starting my seventh week of working out 5 days a week/plus heavy weights ( the firm)

    while I am short.. I come from hearty stock and have a bigger limbs. I just want to be the healthiest & fittest I can be for my frame.

    My goal right now is 139.5lbs. , but I don't plan to stop until I'm 135lbs and I might even see if I can go a bit lower (but I've already decided that I definitely won't go any lower than 125 lbs. though).

    Im 5'3 and 145 my prof pic is pretty recent. I wear a size 6 usually and a Small or Medium if it isnt number sizes.

    I am 55 yrs old, 5'3" and weigh 140-145lbs. Just reached my goal wt which was 145. My doctor and I discussed this at length and his medical opinion is that he does not want me to go below 140 considering my age and body type (large chest).So for the past 3 weeks I have been maintaining. I feel great and haven't weighed this since high school.
