Healthy eating and eye sight

I have been nearsighted for about 16 years. My eyesight has progressively got worse except the last 2 years have stayed the same. But the past year, I have been eating healthier. Much more fruits and veggies. Got an eye exam last night and my prescription actually improved. Not sure if it is the cause, but definitely a coincidence. Anybody else experience something similar?

It's likely a coincidence. Eating healthy will keep you vision good by preventing diabetes and decreasing your risk of age related macular degeneration. However, it won't effect how near-sighted you are. It's not unusual to get progressively more near sighted until your mid-twenties.0

It is likely that your eye doctor is lieing to you so that you will need to get a new set of glasses/contacts0
