125 lbs ago, this was my goal

To be at this weight, to lose 125 pounds... 75 pounds ago, this was not. I knew I was going to lose 120 pounds ( total of 170) and I still have 45 more to go, ( at least) . But, when I weighed 315 pounds, losing 125 pounds was my goal, and I thought I would be happy. Needless to say, I am not done, but I think it is interesting how our goals change as we change...
I saw a girl today that I had not seen in about 5 weeks, its so nice to have 5 weeks make a difference now. she called me tiny!! I loved it!!

Congratulations! I've lost 15 pounds and I have 85 to go. My goal is to lose a total of 50 by Christmas and the other 50 by July 20 of next year (my 20th anniversary) and, God willing, I am working at it!
Yay for all of your hard work! You are an inspiration!

Your start weight and goal are pretty similar to my own, and you are definitely an inspiration! I can't wait to see what my goal will be after I actually get close to my current goal.0

I know exactly how you feel. When I started this I was 320# and my goal was to loose 120# ending up at 200 even. Now that I have lost 80# I am seeing that I can do more, and my goals are harder. Now I would like to loose 140-160# putting me between 180-160#
I would never have thought I could get that small, and am suprised by my audacity to even suggest it,but it seems very possible now.
You are looking awesome, and I bet you are going to break through that goal like a steam engine with all your hard work! Good luck.:bigsmile:0 -

WTG girly and you are for sure an inspiration to me and others. Tonight while eating Mexican i was talking about how sick I am about plateauing all the time and how I just want to give up. Who cares if I'm fat. My friend said I thin you care about if you are fat or not. And I have to admit I do care but it gets frustrating at times. But after seeing your story I'm going to go out there and kick butt.0

YOU DO CARE!!!
when I plateaued in early august, I just kept telling myself I was doing all the right things.. and I just needed to change up my exercise to shock my system, that is when I seriously starting to run, and I am doing a 5k run in Nov . It still kicks my butt, and every other day I get on that treadmill and run, and I cut some time off my run before, but regardless, I burn a ton of calories doing it, A TON! You just need to shock your system!!! Dont give up!:flowerforyou:0 -
Congrats to you!! :drinker:0

I know what you mean. I'm only halfway to my goal, but I'm already realizing that my goal weight is still chunkier than I'd like to be. I watch weight loss shows like "X Weighted" to get an idea of what I really look like (women roughly the same height and weight as I am right now) and then see what they look like at the weight I wanna be...0
