Need some advice

So I weigh 144 now and I was going to go down to 135 now but my question is i'm 5'4 and i'm into mixed martial arts and the guys around my height are 125 .Does anyone on here plan on going to that weight or can give me advice on if I should do it or not. I thought 135 would be a good weight for me but it looks like I need to get down to 125. Thanks for the input

    your goal weight should be where you feel comfortable not where your friends weigh, If you have more muscle than they do tou would weigh more, also depends on your build... my roomate is my height and weighs around 175 and ripped out of his mind, if i was 175 I would still be fat, my advice would be to lose weight till you see your abs and then gain it back in the muscle

    for a man that seems pretty low my healthy weight at 5'4 is around 130.... i think weight is subjective muscle is 3x as dense as fat and so it takes up less space if you weigh 144 and are only 8 to 10% body fat i think thats ok i am going to start out tapout xt and most of the mma guys dont seem to be that small

    Nice picture :) Anyway I don't think this answers what your asking but here are some thoughts. What is your body comfortable at and look at your muscle mass.

    What are the limits for the two weight classes you're nearest? 125 isn't very much, so would that put you in featherweight or what?
