Does anyone do two-a-days? I am considering doing it today and would like feedback (pros and cons).
Thanks!
Thanks!

I do them several times a week. On those two a days, one of the runs is shorter, usually 3 to 5 miles, and easier than the other.
Pros: They will help build your aerobic capacity faster and higher. Over time, your body will adapt to recover more quickly between runs.
Cons: You will be more tired. You need to develop your mind body connection to differentiate between normal and abnormal tiredness You need to be tuned in to what your body feels like and skip a 2d run or take a rest day if needed because as you increase the training load you begin to walk closer to the line that crosses over into injury or overtraining. You need to be especially attuned to effort levels daily and run easy enough on easy days so that you can run hard enough on hard days. Running in between every day will give poorer results.0 -
