Time to break they yo-yo

Hi! I'm new to this site but not new to forums. Have dealt with being overweight since middle school (technically obese), and have lost/gained/lost/gained/lost/gained. I am currently at my highest weight ever after three kids and not taking care of myself at all. Busy life like everyone else, but had that "is that really what I've become?" moment when looking at a picture someone happened to catch me in lately (I avoid photos when at all possible...you know how it is). The goal is a lifestyle change that has one of the results being a happier, healthier, more fit version of myself. I'm one of those perfectionist types and extremists with an all or nothing approach, which isn't compatible with gradually changing your lifestyle/eating/exercising habits. Emotional eating is my downfall; happy/sad/celebrating/depressed, etc. I'm sure a lot of you can relate. I figured I'd post in the forums to help with my accountability. Just joined Thursday, so I am just now starting to navigate the site and see what's available in the community here. Look forward to interacting with people that understand the struggle.
