This past week I have gone over my calories, even eating back the calories I worked off from exercising.. Today was one of the worst.. I feel like I'm losing strength to keep going with this.. The scale is even climbing back to to where I was.. I'm feeling very disappointed in myself and need a bit of support to keep going. Also, Is there I can calculate or find out my body fat % ? I would like to know if I'm putting back fat, or maybe muscle because I have been doing quite a bit of exercise with weights and strength training.

Hey! No, don't lose motivation! Have you been exercising and doing strength training? If so it could be muscle gain! I gained 3 lbs and then lost 4. It was just the water retention and muscle gaining! If you open up your food diary we can take a look at what your eating and see if we can help provide some insight. :) But, don't give up! You can do this!!! We are all here to help you succeed!

If you are set at an activity level where you are already including your exercises in your calorie goal, you could be eating your exercise calories twice. check your numbers. Change your carb, fat and protein goals to 40% 30% 30%. Or 1g of protein per pound of Lean body mass Which you can also calculate on fat2fit if I'm not mistaken.

google fat2fit, all sorts of calculators. just dont use the U.S. military calculator listed, i found it ridiculously high.

Good luck and hang in there!

are you drinking enough water? sometimes to curb cravings, it helps to be properly hydrated. Try eating more beans (legumes) that can stablize your blood sugar too - are you drinking soda? eating too low fat? just take one day at a time and possibly hour by hour if you need to.

Do it for your health though - make the right choices! :) you can do it!

I tend to drink less water then I should. I feel like 8 cups is a lot in one day and would be going to the bathroom a lot. I have a large water bottle that holds roughly 4 cups that I try to drink each day. Yesterday I managed to get about 6 cups of water in, because I did two workouts to try to get back down the 2 pounds I put back on. I find it hard to eat away from home and I often revert back to my old habit of eating whatever I want and when I do get home to track it on MFP I'm shocked at the damage I did in one meal and a few snacks..
