Carry frozen food to work?

Hi all,

I have a 45 minute commute from home to work. Would it be possible/safe to take a tupperware container of frozen vegetables to cook in the microwave at work for lunch? Are they likely to defrost too much on the train?

Has anyone commuted with frozen veg for lunch? Any ideas?

Cheers!

45 mins will not be a problem, then you put them in the fridge at work and they will be already defrosted for cooking.
I took a small esky to work recently cos the we lost a fridge in the remodelling of the office and the remaining fridges are full.

Thanks :) We have a freezer at work, it was just the commute I was concerned about. I'm planning to get one of those plastic containers that work for steaming as well and have healthy steamed veggies for lunch!

I do this. Put the container in the fridge at work and microwave at lunchtime. You'll have to drain out the water before serving so cook them separate before meeting anything else in.
I take a tin or tuna or mackerel to have with them

I have a 40 minute commute to work. I have an insulated bag that I bring my food to work in. It works well, and keeps things cold/frozen until I get to work.
