So my friend has this stationary bike at her home and she works out on it a lot but very differently to me. Whilst, I like to bike for a set period, say 30- 60 minutes a day, she works out every now and then. If she has a cup of cappuccino, she wait a while and then promptly gets on the bike and works out enough to burn the calories in the drink..same for breakfast, lunch and dinner too. She swears its working for her and I think it is cause she has lost a lot of pounds..

So guys, do you think this kind of a workout is good? Do you think it will work? Has anyone else tried it before? I am so tempted to try it..Anyone has any thoughts on it?

Thanks in advance..

So, you're saying she hops on the bike and burns off every calorie she eats? I think she's pulling your leg.

Having said that, there's no harm in working out more than once a day but from a cardiovascular point of view you derive a greater benefit from the longer steady sessions.
