30 Day Shred and Gaining Weight

I started 30 Day Shred a little over a week ago (I have been exercising before but mostly cardio) and I have done level 1 for 7 days. Since then I have lost 2 lbs and then gained it back again 2 or 3 days later. Any idea what that is about? I'm guessing it's not muscle since it is too soon for that, but is it just water weight or what is it? I haven't really changed my diet much but to include a little more protein. Any ideas?

    It could be water weight. Hard to say. How often do you weigh yourself. Daily? Weekly? Weight can fluctuate a couple pounds easy from one day to the next and it's possible that you just happened to weigh yourself on a high day. Make sure you're hitting your calorie goals and being totally honest about the food calories and calories burned during exercise. I wouldn't say you were stuck just from one week worth of data.
