I only know my weight because I was FORCED to get on it with a trainer (during a consultation). I told her that I wanted to lose inches/sizes. She said that it was ok to stay away from the scale and I should check my inches once a month. She mentioned muscle is heavier???? So is there anyone here that goes by this theory. Because I personally like it. :embarassed:

Muscle isn't heavier than fat its just more dense so if you lose a pound of fat and gain a pound of muscle then it will even out on the scale, its good that you aren't focusing on the scale. Good luck!!!

One pound of muscle is much smaller than one pound of fat. So if you lose a pound of fat and at the same time, gain a pound of muscle, you'll weight exactly the same but be smaller in size.
