Body Fat Scales

I have been looking into body fat scales and find myself a bit confused. I don't quite understand how they would even measure body fat accurately. Has anyone owned a body fat scale before? I was looking at the EatSmart Precision GetFit Digital Body Fat Scale which says it does body fat, muscle mass, water mass and bone mass. How is that even possible?
