Hi!
Last week, my partner and I decided we want to go to Thailand in 12 months' time; this is also when I decided I want to get myself a new swimsuit in December (I'm in Australia, so we'll be in the thick of summer then!) seeing as how I've not bought a new one for 8 years!
That said, my weight went down considerably (10-15kgs) but I simply didn't see the need to buy a new one as it was winter and I was going to wait until summer (this was in 2009).
A few things happened, including a debilitating back injury in 2010, and I put back on that 10-15kgs.
Anyway, I've decided I've had enough of letting that injury run my life, and that I really want to shift this weight (it'll probably help with my back injury too!).
I put the MFP app back on my phone two days ago, and started a blog that I have shared with my partner, family and FB friends (not sure if I am allowed to post it here). I like to be made accountable; when I say I'm going to do something, and I really mean it, it's the only way I can succeed.
I'm almost 28, I'm a full time student studying urban & regional planning (town planning), I run my own small business from home and I have a wonderful partner and best friend - he is my rock.
Looking forward to experiencing this journey with you!
Cheers,
H
