Yeah, Splenda is a popular sweetener but I'm trying to stay away from artificial stuff.

What didn't you like about the taste of stevia?

I think it was just too expensive... but I don't remember... to be honest.. I could change back and it won't make that much of a difference now.. I think..

What happened is that when I changed to art sweet was when I decided to eliminate sugar from my diet.. which was one of the highest and most radical changes that I made.. so the splenda was the closest to my sweet taste that I could handle at the time..

There was another one that I can't remember right now that I think is also organic... I will find it and let you know when I do.. and it was actually the closest to sugar taste in my opinion.

I really like Stevia, but I agree that the price is a bit high. I prefer non artificial, but at restaurants, I will use splenda. My doctor advised me at my last appointment that I should avoid regular use of art. sweeteners, as they will actually cause me to want to eat more, and possibly retain water (?). I have not researched this any further myself...

    Cheers!
